Society’s Perception of Beauty – 24th April 2018

In today’s podcast, our hosts Sasha de Voux and Bronwyn Witbooi discuss society’s perception of beauty with Nathan Van Wyk, Kamo Vezi and Chad Batist.

We address how society sees people thanks to our use of filters and effects on pictures, how people see us as people if we use social media to seek acceptance. It covers opinions on what we should rather seek in each instead of our outer appearances, and how social media influences the way we think and perceive beauty.

We measure the importance of self-acceptance and the saying “those we matter don’t care, and those who care don’t matter”.
